Summary

Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture hosts its HANABI Festival on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, filling the evening from 19:00 to 20:20 with about 4,000 fireworks launched over the famous racing course. The program opens with a motorcycle match, moves to music-synchronized fireworks seen from the grandstand, and closes with shells and special-effect fireworks right along the home straight, rounded off by photo sessions with bikes and cars. Paid seats are available.

Overview

The event turns the circuit itself into the launch site. After the opening motorcycle match, music fireworks fill the sky above the grandstand, and the finale shifts to the home straight, where bursts explode almost directly above the crowd. A photo session with racing machines closes the evening. Paid viewing seats are on offer. The venue is a 20-minute walk from Suzuka Circuit Ino Station on the Ise Railway, and Mie Kotsu buses run from Kintetsu Shiratsuka Station in about 20 minutes, stopping right at the circuit. A large lot with 4,400 spaces charges from 1,000 yen per car. The grounds are extensive, so allow plenty of time to walk to your chosen viewing area.

Best viewing spots

Music fireworks are best from the grandstand side, while the closing shells burst closest along the home straight. For paid seats, follow staff guidance to your place before the show starts.
