The largest event in Miyazu, where 'spirit boats' and lanterns float on Miyazu Bay in Kyoto Prefecture and vivid fireworks bloom in the night sky. As the 'spirit boats' sent from homes observing the first Obon and approximately 10000 red and white lanterns begin to drift around them on Miyazu Bay, colorful fireworks blossom in the night sky. The grand finale is a spectacular maritime star mine, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful festival of light both on the sea and in the sky.
