On Saturday, June 6, 2026, a new night entertainment event 'OSAKA BAY SKYLUMINA FIREWORKS & DRONES' will be held at Maishima Sports Island Sora no Hiroba in Konohana Ward, Osaka City. The venue is located in the bay area adjacent to Yumeshima, the site of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, offering a stunning open-sea-and-sky location. 10,000 music-synchronized fireworks and a total of 2,000 drones will create a three-dimensional spectacle in the night sky, delivering a grand-scale night experience unmatched in urban areas. A selected team of pyrotechnicians led by Katsuragi Fireworks and Red Cliff, the drone show team behind the Expo, join forces to deliver fireworks synchronized to music with 1/100-second precision, extraordinary 8-gō shells, and giant imagery painted across the night sky.
