Asago City Santo Summer Festival

Summary

An annual summer festival held in Santo-cho, Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture. The festival concludes with approximately 1,400 shells of fireworks coloring the night sky. The musical fireworks, launched in sync with background music, are crafted by artisans who pour their hearts into painting colorful moments inspired by various worldviews onto the night sky. A 'Night Stall Street' with about 100 food stalls and kitchen cars is set up. The event will be held in light rain, but postponed to the following day, the 23rd (Sun) in case of stormy weather; if it cannot be held on the 23rd (Sun) either, it will be canceled.
