Summary
A handcrafted summer festival held on the last Saturday of August every year in the Sekinomiya area of Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture; in 2026, it will be held on August 29 (Sat). At the Sekinomiya Fureai Park grass field, the program features shows and brass band performances on a special stage, tent villages by local groups, and kitchen car stalls, all brought together by the local community. The finale is a 30-minute fireworks display starting at 8:00 PM, and the sight of the mountain valley night sky lit up with color is the biggest highlight of the festival. It is cherished as a warm and welcoming summer festival for all ages, characteristic of Sekinomiya.
