Info for International Visitors
Best arrival timeFireworks run about 10 minutes — 3,000 shells — with roughly 10,000 visitors a day, so claim a good viewing spot in the park early. It is 30 minutes by Shinki Bus from JR Himeji Station, or about 5 minutes by car from the Sanyo-Himeji-Higashi interchange; a 5,000-space lot charges 1,200 yen per day.
Tickets & seatsThere are no reserved paid viewing seats. The show takes place inside the Himeji Central Park amusement area, so park admission is required — check the official website for the latest prices.
Best viewing spotsYou can watch from various points around the park, and the view from the night pool is said to be especially photogenic. The rides glowing under the fireworks feel dreamlike — keep an eye on the romantic-symphony sequences that weave music and light together.
Photography tipsWhat sets this venue apart is that the park lights and the fireworks land in one frame — angles from the night pool work especially well. For any photography restrictions, check the official website or ask park staff.
