Summary

A fireworks display held as the eve of the 'Aioi Peron Festival' in Aioi City, Hyogo Prefecture, held annually on the last Saturday of May. Set against Aioi Bay, Approx. 5000 shells of dazzling aerial fireworks and set-piece fireworks illuminate the water surface and night sky in rapid succession. Each year features themed compositions and effects, with programs synchronized to music. Paid seating is available within Port Park, recommended for those who want a safe and comfortable viewing environment. Parking is available but limited, and extensive traffic restrictions are in place across the city on the day, so public transport is recommended. The following day, Sunday the 31st, the main event features Peron boat races and a land parade, with the entire region immersed in festival spirit over two days.
