Summary
Held in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, this is the largest fireworks festival in northern Okayama. It was started in 1932 (Showa 7) by local merchants as part of their customer service, and in 2026 it will celebrate its 80th edition. Approx. 2500 shells of aerial fireworks and various display fireworks create a magnificent illusion of light across the night sky.
