Summary

A historic fireworks festival held in Nariwa-cho, Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture, continuing for approximately 320 years since the Hoei era. It began in the Edo period when Nariwa domain lord Yamazaki Yoshikata enshrined the fire deity Edo Atago Gongen in his territory, and has been passed down as a fireworks festival filled with gratitude and prayers to the local guardian deity. It deeply reflects the region's culture and history, and is a special event for local residents.
