Summary
One of the largest fireworks festivals in western Japan, held at the Minato Fish Market in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Spectacular shakudama (12-inch shells) will be launched (planned). Food booths open from 4:00 PM, offering gourmet delights unique to the fishing port, featuring local seafood. In the event of cancellation due to weather or other reasons, the festival will be postponed to the backup dates of July 19 (Sun) or July 20 (Mon). The venue is a convenient 5-minute walk from Nagato City Station, so using public transportation is recommended.
