Summary

A beloved summer tradition held every year in Kaminoseki-cho, Kumage-gun, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The main venue is around Murotsu Port and the roadside station 'Kaminoseki Kaikyo' in Kaminoseki-cho, an area that has flourished since ancient times as a key maritime transportation hub and is known as a place connected to the Murakami Suigun (navy). Various events are held from evening to night. The venue features stalls offering local seafood and light meals, and the stage hosts diverse performances including Kaminoseki Suigun drums by elementary school students, yosakoi dance, musical instrument performances, and juggling.
