Summary

Sun Festa Shinnanyo, held in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a citizen-participation summer festival themed around 'The Four Seasons of Eigenzan.' The festival features momi-taiko drumming, corporate mikoshi (portable shrines), and fair stalls, while the station-front stage offers performances of wadaiko (Japanese drums), dance, and bands. The festival finale features approximately 2000 shells coloring the summer night sky. The powerful fireworks are launched from Resonac Eigenzan Park near the venue, a distinctive feature. In case of severe weather, the event is postponed, with the launch time on the postponed date set to 8:00 PM.
