A popular marine fireworks festival held in Mitoyo City, Kagawa, an annual summer tradition attracting about 30,000 visitors each year. The approximately 2000 fireworks that color the midsummer night, including 10 shaku-dama (size-10 shells) that bloom across the sky and sea, are the highlight. The festival starts at 17:00, with various events to enjoy before the fireworks. The 'Maimai Samba Dance,' children's group dance, and an outdoor stage show featuring performers liven up the venue. In case of stormy weather, only the fireworks will be postponed to the following day, August 10 (Sun).
