Summary

On July 18-19, August 11-15 and September 20-22, 2026, LeoMa Resort in Marugame, Kagawa stages its night entertainment around the LeoMa Light World illumination — about 2.5 million bulbs recognized as Japan Night View Heritage and billed as the largest of its kind in the Chugoku-Shikoku region. Fireworks are launched close by and timed to music, while the concurrent Miracle Aurora Show recreates an aurora across the night sky. With dates spread across summer and autumn holiday periods, the show slots neatly into a theme-park evening plan.

Overview

The fireworks of Hanabi Fantasia play out above the LeoMa Light World, an illumination of roughly 2.5 million bulbs that carries Japan Night View Heritage recognition and ranks among the largest displays in the Chugoku-Shikoku region. The shells rise close to the audience in time with the music, and the paired Miracle Aurora Show paints the night sky with recreated aurora light. The 2026 calendar spans three stretches — July 18-19, August 11-15 and September 20-22 — clustered around the summer and autumn holidays. Free shuttle buses run from JR Sakaide, Utazu and Kotohira stations and Kotoden Okada Station (timetables on the official website). By car it is about 25 minutes from the Zentsuji or Sakaide interchange, or 15 from Fuchuko Smart IC; parking covers 3,500 free spaces plus 350 paid ones at 1,000 yen per day.

Info for International Visitors

Best arrival time

Aim to reach your viewing spot 30-45 minutes before the fireworks begin. The park at night is an illumination walk-through space, so it pays to plan your route to include both the fireworks vantage points and the light displays. Check the shuttle bus timetable on the official website.

With kids

The format involves walking through the park at night, so choose comfortable shoes for children and keep them in sight. The light displays are distracting — holding hands while moving around is the safest approach.

Photography tips

The park's signature composition frames the fireworks together with the 2.5-million-bulb illumination and the aurora effect. With so much light in the scene, building the whole frame — decorations in front, fireworks above — works better than shooting the fireworks alone.

Payment

This event has paid seating available — check the facility's guidance on whether you need a seat. Parking offers 3,500 free spaces plus 350 paid spaces at 1,000 yen per day. For dining inside the park, refer to the facility's information.
