Overview

The Kazahaya Umi Matsuri is a seafront fireworks event held in the Hojo district of Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, on July 25, 2026, using the open ground at Hojo Outer Port as its venue. About 4,000 shells are launched from offshore of Kashima. The firing time is not included in our published data, so check the official website for the day's schedule. The bursts rise close to the venue, with large shells and star mines spreading across the water, and lantern light rocking on the waves nearby. Around 50,000 visitors are expected: it is a 10-minute walk from Iyo-Hojo Station on the JR Yosan Line, or about 45 minutes by car from Matsuyama IC.
