Kazahaya Sea Festival

Summary

Following last year, a fireworks display will be held in the Hojo area of Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. At the 'Kazahaya Sea Festival,' the region's largest summer event, approx. 4,000 shells color the night sky. Large-scale launched fireworks, powerful star mines, and many other fireworks illuminate the night sky of Matsuyama City's Hojo area, beautifully competing with the light of lanterns swaying on the waves and the glittering fireworks reflected on the sea surface. The fireworks launched offshore from Kashima Island are visible up close from the venue, delivering plenty of impact. Paid seating (4-person table seats) is sold at the Hojo Commerce and Industry Association (TEL 089-993-0567).
