The 69th Niihama Summer Evening Fireworks Display

Summary

A fireworks display in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, boasting one of the largest launch counts in Shikoku. Approx. 8,000 shells color the night sky of the industrial city of Niihama, drawing crowds not only from neighboring municipalities but also from outside the prefecture. Powerful fireworks, mainly star mines, are launched. Held on a riverbed, the impactful fireworks can be viewed up close, allowing you to feel the true sound of fireworks. Additionally, with commemorative fireworks sponsored by the public, messages celebrating weddings, births, school admissions, new homes, as well as cheers and confessions, are read aloud at the venue.
