Summary
A summer tradition held annually in Miyako Town, Miyako District, Fukuoka, drawing approx. 10,000 visitors each year. The festival starts at 4:00 PM at the Miyako Town Cultural Center 'Sun Great Miyako.' The festival concludes with approx. 1000 shells of fireworks coloring the night sky over 20 minutes. The stage features powerful taiko drum performances and vibrant shows that further energize the festival. Numerous food stalls line the area, along with a well-stocked game corner for children. In case of stormy weather, the event is postponed to the following day, the 24th (Sun).
