Yukuhashi's town-festival finale takes over the Imagawa riverside next to city hall on September 26, 2026. The name 'Cosmoppe' nods to the city flower, the cosmos. From 20:00, roughly 2,500 shells go up in a brisk 30 minutes of consecutive and framed fireworks—an easy length for families with small children. Earlier in the day the whole town joins in: stage events, flea-style markets, group dancing and rows of food stalls along the river.

The venue is a 15-minute walk from JR Yukuhashi Station, so no transfer logistics are needed. Festival programming runs from 10:00 to 21:00, with a live music stage from around 18:30 leading straight into the 20:00–20:30 fireworks. Because launch positions sit close to the viewing banks on the Imagawa, the reflections and the report feel immediate. Temporary parking (Nakayama ground, a junior high school and other sites) exists but fills quickly, and trains remain the stress-free option. The policy is light-rain-proceeds, storm-cancels, with no reserve date. Expect roughly 40,000 visitors across the day in this hub town of the Keichiku region; if you are based in Fukuoka or Kitakyushu, it works as an easy evening out on the Nippo main line.
