The event name 'Kosumoppe' is derived from the cosmos flower, the city flower of Yukuhashi. The fireworks display is held along the Imagawa River flowing through the city center, featuring rhythmic displays such as rapid-fire fireworks and set-piece fireworks. Various events are held throughout the city, with many food stalls lining the Imagawa riverbank, along with stage events, a flea market, and a community dance. The event will be held rain or shine, but canceled in the event of severe weather.
