73rd Buzen City Minato Festival

Summary

The Minato Festival held at Unoshima Port in Buzen City, Fukuoka. The festival's finale features 70 consecutive large shells, brilliantly coloring the Buzen Sea and the night sky. Events such as a ship parade and bountiful catch festival are held from the morning, and after the ceremony and memorial service, numerous fishing boats parade with large catch flags to express gratitude for the sea's bounty and pray for safe fishing and good catches. Free shuttle buses run from Buzen City Hall temporary parking, Yatsuya Junior High School temporary parking, and Nittetsu Building Materials temporary parking, making access convenient.
