A two-day festival held around the north moat of the Saga Castle ruins in the center of Saga City, Saga Prefecture. The fireworks launched on the first day color the early summer night sky of the castle town, creating a magical atmosphere. The concurrently held 'Saga Joka Sakae no Kuni Festival' draws over 200,000 visitors each year, packed with lively events such as Yosakoi dancing and grand group dances.
