Summary

A fireworks festival in Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture, held since 1993. The finale features approximately 2,000 shells launched into the sky. 'Gamadas' means 'do your best' in the Shimabara dialect. Near the venue, there is a free foot bath, and approximately 800 meters along Route 251 in front of Shimabara Port becomes a pedestrian paradise, with 80 stalls lining up to add color to the festival.
