Summary

The finale of the 'Tabira Summer Festival' held in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, this is one of the largest fireworks displays in northern Nagasaki Prefecture, with approximately 2,000 shells launched. The venue is the Tabira Port area, a popular event that attracts about 20,000 visitors each year. Fireworks are launched from the breakwater of Tabira Port against the backdrop of the illuminated Hirado Bridge. On the festival stage, performances by local high school students, taiko drumming, dance by local dance teams, and Yosakoi performances also heat up the atmosphere.
