Fukue Minato Festival

Summary

The Fukue Minato Festival, a representative event of Goto City. The main venue is the central shopping street, featuring a parade of local kindergarteners and a parade by elementary and junior high school students, among many other events. The 'Nebuta' float, a unique fire festival held at the westernmost tip of Japan, is particularly impressive. On the final day of the festival, fireworks are launched from Fukue Port, vividly coloring the autumn night sky of Goto City.
