Summary

Fireworks to enliven the "Reihoku Jatto Festival" held at Tomioka Port in Reihoku Town, Kumamoto Prefecture. The fireworks launched from the tip of the breakwater are incredibly powerful. The next day, Sunday, July 19, the Amakusa Reihoku Peron Boat Race will be held in Tomioka Port Bay. The origin of "Jatto Festival" comes from the Reihoku dialect "jatto," meaning "that's right" or "really." The festival embodies the wish for local residents to come together and push forward with determination.
