Sanoyoi Fire Carnival 2026

Summary

At Greenland, an amusement park in Arao City, Kumamoto Prefecture, the 'Sanoyoi Fire Carnival' is held every July. 10000 shells of fireworks are launched, delivering a 'Music Starmine' synchronized with music in a full wide display of Approx. 150 meters (postponed to the next day, July 20 (holiday), in case of stormy weather). The 'Sanoyoi Dance Contest' featuring unique dancers is also held on the same day. Various teams gathered from inside and outside Kyushu unite to present magnificent dance performances.
