Summary

A fireworks festival held annually as a summer tradition in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture. As a major summer event, it attracts visitors from inside and outside the prefecture. 3000–5000 shells (planned) of fireworks are vividly reflected not only in the sky but also on the surface of the Kuma River flowing through central Hitoyoshi. Enjoy beautiful fireworks against the backdrop of castle ruins. The venue is lined with many food stalls and bustling with crowds.
