The 'Usa City Minato Festival' is a lively two-day event held in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, every year in mid-September. On the first day, September 13 (Sat), a fireworks display is held from 20:00, with approximately 3000 shells and a massive 2-shaku shell with a diameter of 500 meters lighting up the night sky. On the second day, September 14 (Sun), events such as sea tug-of-war, land tug-of-war, and karaoke contests are also held. The venue features a variety of stalls including drinks, alcohol, B-class gourmet food, sweets, and toy shops, making it a great place to shop and enjoy street food.
