Summary

The 'Miyazaki Noryo Fireworks,' which began in 1949 and has been cherished as a local summer tradition, marks its 78th edition in 2026. The venue is the banks of the Oyodo River flowing through Miyazaki City, where over 10,000 shells of diverse fireworks light up the night sky. Amid a rich variety of displays including set-piece fireworks and star mines, the finale features the 'Niagara Falls' set across the river, captivating the audience with its overwhelming scale. Five types of paid viewing seats are available at the venue, and all except the single-person chair seats are reserved. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale from early June 2026. Check the official website for details.
