Approx. 800 shells are launched from the embankment of 'Kamishiiba Dam,' Japan's first arch-type dam known for its beautiful curve, reflecting on the Hyuga Shiiba Lake. The explosions of the fireworks echo through the mountains, creating a spectacle as if a shower of light is raining down from above. At the venue, Shiiba Junior High School, various events such as taiko drum performances and raffles are held, along with food stalls and vendors.
