Summary

A fireworks display held as part of the 'Makurazaki Port Festival' in Makurazaki City, located at the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture. The fireworks are launched one after another as the finale of the two-day festival. It is one of the top three most popular fireworks displays in Kagoshima, with a total of 10000 shells launched over 60 minutes, delivering the intensity of a concentrated barrage. The finale features Kyushu's largest 3-shaku shell, launched with the support of Makurazaki citizens, and the moment its grand bloom opens in the night sky is breathtakingly beautiful.
