Summary

Held at Ginowan Seaside Park (Tropical Beach) in Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture. The theme is 'To the Earliest Moving Summer in Japan.' Approx. 10,000 shells of fireworks are combined with Okinawan music and culture, with special design fireworks to enjoy. In the past, fireworks produced by Junko Koshino and fireworks inspired by Katsushika Hokusai have been launched, drawing attention for their highly artistic displays. With many visitors each year, early hotel reservations near the venue are recommended. Also, nearby roads are congested on the day, so traveling by walk or bus is convenient. Plans with shuttle buses from Naha Airport and Naha City are also available. As the earliest large-scale fireworks festival in Japan, it is an event that vividly colors Okinawa's nights.
