About FujiVis — Founder Citron Chan

I am Citron Chan, the founder of FujiVis. I built this site after experiencing how difficult it can be during a trip to answer a simple question: can I see Mount Fuji tomorrow? FujiVis is a software product that aggregates and visualizes third-party forecasts and public weather data. I am not a meteorologist, and this is not original meteorological research. Forecasts can be wrong, so please check official sources and live webcams before traveling.

Editorial Policy

  • Visibility forecasts are obtained from a third-party Japanese meteorological forecast service, combined with public weather data and historical observation patterns, then recalculated using our own methodology
  • Content updates are synchronized with data sources to ensure timeliness
  • Multilingual translations aim to maintain semantic accuracy and cultural adaptation
  • No paid promotions or sponsored content; all recommendations are based on objective evaluation
  • If data errors are found, they will be corrected within 24 hours after confirmation

Data Source Statement

Our data sources include a third-party Japanese forecast service and Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) public weather data. Forecasts are recalculated and graded using our own methodology. I am not a meteorologist; this is a software product, not original meteorological research.
